Privacy Policy

• Account information (name, email) when you sign up, either directly or via "Continue with Google".
• Reviews, favorites, saved trips, and booking requests you create while signed in.
• Newsletter subscription email addresses.
• Basic usage analytics to help us improve the site and app.
• On the mobile app only, a push-notification device token — if you enable notifications — used solely to deliver notices about your own bookings/account.

We use your information solely to operate Go Hargeisa — personalizing your dashboard, sending the newsletter you opted into, notifying you about your bookings, and responding to contact form submissions. We do not sell personal data.

We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage — your account and content data resides with them as our data processor, under their own security safeguards. If you sign in with "Continue with Google", Google processes that authentication on our behalf and shares your name/email with us as authorized by you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or other third parties.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (reviews, favorites, saved trips) at any time from Account Settings in your dashboard — no need to contact us. You can also request a copy of your data or ask us to correct it by emailing us.

Go Hargeisa is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Go Hargeisa app requests only the permissions it needs to function: internet access, network-status detection (to show an offline screen when needed), notification delivery (only if you enable it), and vibration (for interface feedback). The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location, and photo uploads (for reviews) use your device's own photo picker rather than any permission granted directly to the app.

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access-controlled databases) to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
